What a breath of fresh air in regard to a fashion show. All women need to see this. All women should feel appreciated as they are. It's hard enough living up to the beauty standards shoved down our throats on a daily basis but what about the women who suffer a disease, lose their hair,a limb or a plethora of other things that can befall us? Are we then no longer beautiful in society's eyes? Sadly in a lot of cases, people would say no. The reality is that we are! Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder and a lot of men and women know better than to dismiss a person due to differences. Celebrate YOU!

Did We Need This Remake?
Boys Over Flowers
Over a year ago or so I watched this show with my teenage daughter and actually found myself really enjoying it. There were a ton of episodes( Subtitles) but I braved through them with my daughter and it was my first taste of a K-Drama. It was good, a little over the top with the acting but I took it for what it was. Then last night as I was browsing Netflix, I saw a new show and decided to check it out because I'm always looking for shows my daughter and I can watch together. I found this show and began to watch.

Which is an almost exact replica of the original show with a new cast. I'm a bit lost as to why they even made a 2018 version of the show. It's basically the same scene for scene. There are a few slight and I do mean slight changes but that's about it. So if you've watched this before it may be a complete time waste to even check out the 2018 version of the show. As of today's day, there are 16 episodes listed with new episodes added weekly. The original show had 25 episodes so we'll see if Meteor Garden will have more.

Throwback Thursday!
Today's Throwback Thursday post will be my book "The Conversation"
Yeah, I wrote it but I thought it was a really good book. It explored starting over in relationships and it never being too late to take your relationship in a different direction if things are not working and your partner isn't seeing your value. If you haven't read it yet, check it out.
How It Ends-Netflix Review

Well, this was a highly anticipated Netflix Orginal movie I was looking forward to and let's just say this. It didn't end fast enough for me. I like my movies like I like my books. I don't mind a slow build up as long as it doesn't leave me dazed and confused wondering what the hell happened...and not in a good way either. The trailer was really misleading to me as well. I don't want to reveal too much about the movie because just like books, we all like different things, this just didn't do it for me on any level.
Check it out and leave your thoughts in the comments.
